it matters if she's going back.
if she's staying here, then NO! of course not, unless you're a racist (which it doesn't sound like you are)
if you only like her cause she's pretty, though...be careful. get to know her, and then you can decide if you really like her...
different cultures sometimes have different values, so there are rare cases in which it matters. however, not having any information than what you've given me, it doesn't sound like one of those cases.

It only matters where someone is from if they are only living by you temporarily and you may have to deal with long distance later on. But either way it can work if you want it to.
