I'd leave. NOW. Whatever the source, feelings like that don't go away. And "true love" won't magically appear and erase the feelings of contempt. Hate, fear, and control are not good values for a relationship.

its a fear tactic often used by the contoller to get the other to do what they want-its a useless cause-but if your into it you will hang in there till it gets so bad you may never get out-in Jesus amazing grace that saved me too.
