Check all grounds first, then chech the switch itself, it can do this as well as the high beam relay

i own a repair shop, and i have seen them do this before,it may have a bad switch on it this is how they do when they go bad ,sometimes they knock all the light,s out when they go out ,,there is a relay for them also but it usually don't act like this when it goes bad you just loose the lights all together on it,but you may have to take it in to a repair shop, and have them do a check on it to make sure, electrical problems can be tricky sometimes and real hard to find also, good luck with it,i hope this help,s.
