This question is three things;

Prejudice – Christianity and Catholicism is not against Wicca, just because some people who are Christian or Catholic have problems with people of other religions does not make it true of the entire religion. I am white and I know people who are white who are racist, this does not make me racist nor does it make my race racist. It is within Christian teachings that they spread the word and attempt to save people from hell, some Christians believe that their god is the one true god and as such those who follow other religions are damned – thus they attempt to 'save' people of other religions, unfortunately some people are over-zealous or simply not very good at expressing this and it can come across as hate rather than love.

Hypocritical – You are questioning Christians hating Wiccans, when you are showing hatred towards Christians in your prejudice towards them, I certainly have not seen any Christians here saying anything about Wicca, even if they had their being Christian has nothing to do with it and there is no need to post anything attacking Christianity.

Ignorant – Wicca do not believe in heaven, this is a Judeo-Christian belief. The rede is largely Neo-wicca, within Wicca it tends to be something taught within the outer-court teachings as a way to teach Seekers and trainees moral responsibility, it does not restrict what Wicca can or cannot do. Wicca do believe in harming people, it is not part of doctrine however what is part of doctrine is respect for life, nature and the constant need to learn, harm is part of life and part of the learning process, without harm we would never grow and as human beings we all harm others and are all harmed ourselves. Wicca do not disbelieve in Satan, or any other supernatural or divine beings as Wicca is a henotheistic religion. Learn about Wicca before telling others what Wicca does or does not believe please.

There is no 'we' because you yourself are not Wicca (Wicca is initiate-only and due to legal and practical purposes Wicca do not initiate people under the age of 18 years old), you have no place speaking for other peoples religions just as you have no place in attacking other peoples religions, both of which you are doing here.

Edit: As a note on an above answer.
Christianity does not teach against witchcraft, the church has done in the past as a way to differentiate between the magic of Christ and the magic of others, the difference between the magic, healing, divination and ritual of Christians is no different to that of Pagan religions other than the fact it has a different basis on belief. There have been Christian witches far before Wicca came along, there are also far more Christian witches and magical practitioners than there are Wicca, the only religion to my knowledge that strictly forbids witchcraft is Islam. The dislike of witchcraft within Christianity tends to come from the bible, the same text that has been used against women, black people, homosexuals and anyone a particular Christians cares to preach hate against – no coincidence that Christians who hate witchcraft translate bible verses as being against witchcraft or follow a god who is against witchcraft.

A lot of it comes from Wiccans calling themselves "witches". To most Christians the term refers to the "Heresy of Witchcraft" which was a Devil worshiping cult dreamed up by the Inquisition and described in a book called the Malleus Maleficorum, the Hammer of Witches. It would have saved a lot of problems if when the Wiccan faith was first founded they had gone with "Wiccans" and "Wicca", but the founders all went with "Witches" and "Witchcraft". That it is how it was first presented and popularized, and it was that with which the Christian Churches ran.

I like Jadea's answer and the only thing I would add,

It is just that anything that is not of God... where does the magic's power come from.

You as a person are not evil. I believe you that you are not intentionally harming anying one.

The bible is very clear about "you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you"
When people get healed in Jesus name and God allows me to be that person who is used by God, I am blessed.

It just comes down to
a) do you know your higher power? (I have a relationship with mine)
b) do you know why the magic works? (I know why God allows me to perform miracles)
c) you call your self "dead inside" (the bible says that when we aren't in right relationship with God we are dead, and when become alive in Christ)

Just some thoughts. I think you think you are doing the right thing.
I believe that you are a special person and I don't think your evil.

Well, for a whole number of reasons, but none of them logical. Some are...

1) Both evolved from pagan beliefs, but went in different directions. Christianity denies these roots in an effort to give itself more of a divine origin.

2) Hate and disdain are powerful separators in human culture. It was a way to distinguish themselves from previous and/or competing religious beliefs.

3) Ignorance leads to fear (of the unknown). Fear leads to anger, and anger leads to hate. I guess Yoda was right afterall...

4) I don't know enough about Wicca, but I could give a guess that to the outsider Wiccan magic seems otherworldly. Thats a slippery slope for most organized religions because it implies something other than a monotheistic world.

Education is always the best key when fighting ignorance. Keep it up!

Hope that helps some...

Its funny how, throughout time, there are periods of change. I know I'm young, but I'm not stupid when it comes to history and I know what I see.

As far as young Christians go, they think they are better than everyone else. And they will grow up to think they are better than everyone else. And they possibly got it from their parents, who may think they are better than everyone else. But somewhere along the line, there are going to be a couple of smart kids that will get together and say, "Whoa, this isn't right." Just like, a stretchy example, but, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, etc. of American History. They wanted people to have freedom, that included religion.

What can I say? You live in a bad time where certain people are condescending and extremely rude and most should be shot. At least most should go play in traffic. But hey, no more Salem Witch Trials? It could be waaaay worse. Just don't stoop to their level.

Nobody hates you. They just want nothing to do with you, for a number of very good reasons.

You either worship the one, true God, or you don't.

If you don't, than you're receiving your power from a source that is opposed to God, and you're being deceived.

People have understood this for thousands of years, and yet you think you're smarter than they were.

Quit talking nonsense and get out while you still can.

There is no "positive energy" other than God's grace, and God doesn't provide divine assistance to those who work against him.

Eh, I'm Christian and I don't hate Wiccans. I like to think of all religions as being a choice. Who cares if your Wiccan, Buddhist, Hinduist, Morman, Christian and all the other religions out there. Be what you wanna be.

Argh. Okay. Gonna nitpick here.

"believe", Heaven", "Satan", "which".

That being said, do a little bit of studying about Christianity and you'll understand that it is part of their beliefs that anything that is not of Christ is "evil".

Don't take it personally, live your life in your way and let them live theirs in their way. As long as they aren't interfering with your ability to worship the way you want, who cares what they think?

The reason Christians of all denominations have a problem with wiccans, is because the wiccan religion is a religion based on the practices of witches, they are not bad witches, but GOOD witches, only doing good, practicing good things, But the Truth of the matter, whether GOOD or EVIL, its still witchcraft.

The Christian religion is against witchcraft because the Bible forbids, it does not forbid evil witchcraft, it does not forbid good witchcraft, it forbids witchcraft PERIOD.

A wiccan will use spells and potions to heal someone ( Magic )
Christians will use the name of Jesus to heal someone ( Faith )
Big difference.

In His Holy and Precious Name, Jesus Christ
