As I understand it, they are generally given out at the bachelor/bachelorette parties or the night before the ceremony.

At the rehearsal dinner is a nice time. Or, if you plan to do a bridesmaid's luncheon, that might be a good time too. Some brides wait until the morning of the wedding, but they usually forget to and have to wait until they return from the honeymoon.

If you have an engagement party you can give them all out to everyone at once. Still traditional. Or as everyone else says at the stag and doe parties. But you still have left the parents and so on. You going to just give them gifts at rehearsal and only them. People would be looking like where is mine. I know its a cruel world.

Generally gifts are given out at the Rehearsal Dinner. It is easiest for most people as all the recipients are supposed to be present there. It also generally assures the recipient will not lose it if it is something meant to be worn during the wedding.

You give the gifts at the rehearsal dinner not bachelorette parties. However, most brides will give hostess gifts for those who plan her showers or bachelorette party. So maybe that's why everyone's confused.

normally the groom gives the groomsmen the gifts at his bachlor party and the bride gives the bridesmaids gifts at either her bridal shower or bachlorette party.
i hope that helps.

At the rehersal dinner!!! THe night before the wedding you should have all your wedding party at the rehersal dinner... You can hand them out after dinner and thank them all for all their help.. Your fiance could pass his out at the same time... That's what were doing.... It will be cute and a great way to say thanks before the wedding since you probably won't have time to on your wedding day.

the night of the rehearsal ...or at the rehearsal party if you have one. Better yet, on the wedding day 'cause you'll all be getting ready in the same place (usually)

My sister gave us all earrings, so we put them on when we were getting dressed for the wedding. My brother-in-law gave his groomsmen their gift at the reception. I guess it depends what it is.
