Well, that last clue--what would happen to you if eat,
it--makes it a bit of a stumper. But because you say
rich people need it, poor people have it... it is more
evil than the devil and it's greater than God... I'll take
my best shot, here. Could it be: poverty?

although people have already answered : Nothing.

Nothing is greater than god
Nothing is more evil than the devil
poor people have Nothing
rich people need Nothing
if you eat Nothing you die.

i love that riddle...(although the bit about rich and poor people makes no sense because money doesn't buy you happiness)

Some people might cheat by looking at the previous answers, but this riddle is a little old. But that's okay! Some may have never heard it before!

wind? I have no clue. edit: so "No" is the respond. i assume you string mutually loopy issues and then ask in case you comprehend the respond to the riddle. hmm, a bigphuckin waste of time.
