A lot of argiculutre and service jobs needs immigrants, and they pay in more taxes than they drain out. The immigration system is broken does not take into the account of immigration from Mexico, and Latin America. We should give perfernce to them before people overseas. We never cared about the Mexican border having a fence till 911. The neo-cons gotta realize its hypocrital to think to sign free-trade treaties, but deny access for these workers to work temporary in the market. Mirgration be a lot more circular if we had more relaxed policy of migration from Latin America. We are in a gobalized world, and internet access drives up demand for immigration from all countries in this world, and we need to work out treaties with Western Countries to allow more liberal access to are job in return for access to ours. Why should we locked are own American people in just America its doesnt make sense and were becoming like USSR than the USA. The economics of gobalization is gonna weaken nation boundries, and internet communiction starting to erode differenances in the world wake up and live in the 21 century not the 19th century. America 95% of the land is still empty, and we are using 4% of the land just for Farming along. Immigration policy is a hangover from the 20th century. If we had immigration policy today like the 19th century America would have a population of Austraila or Less.

Immigration is the foundation this country was built on. However, problems from illegal immigration must be sorted out, our borders must be secured and the flow of illegals must end. Until that happens we need a moritorium on all immigration. Our immigration policies should require that anyone immigrating to the US be self-sufficient and must contribute in a useful way to our society. We need a point system like Austrailia has where you get points for education, skills, assets, etc. and if you don't qualify with a high enough numbers of points you can't apply to immigrate.

Immigrants are allowed here, but they have to be documented and legal. JUST LIKE CITIZENS have to have birth certificates, SS #s, IDs. Illegals should not be here or come here undocumented because they are commiting several crimes within one action. Also, they are using our schools, roads, hospitals, etc and not paying for it. They can say they pay all the taxes they want, but no one who works under the table pays taxes. Even if a regular legal citizen is caught doing this, they face criminal charges.
