I had a boyfriend who's father owned an office building, one night he "borrowed" the keys to the building. He brought a bottle of wine and candles in a basket, we took the glass elevator to the top floor (I think it was the 8th) and we made love by candle light iv the elevator overlooking a city skyline and a beautiful river. It was something I will never forget.

My current boyfriend and I worked at the same supermarket. (Cute, eh? :)) It was the night of his snowball (winter dance) and he asked me to go with him. He currently weren't going out at the time, so I was ecstatic to go with him because I had a teeny crush on him. ;) The night before, he asked me if I was going as his friend or his date. Of course I wanted to go as his date. The night went on and we were really shy around each other, but it was perfect. At the end of the dance, we were driving and he took me to this hill which overlooked the whole town. There were pretty lights everywhere and it just felt like we were on top of the world. He then put down his windows and turned up his radio. He played Kenny Chesney who is one of my favorite singers! He came to my side of the car and asked me to dance with him. We danced on the side of the street with the beautiful lights in the background. That night he asked me to be his girlfriend. It was the most perfect night ever and we are still together to this day! :)

My husband literally stopped our wedding - right after the vows. He said, "I have something to say and want to do it right now."
Everyone gasped including the pastor - I nearly fainted. He pulled out a diamond necklace from his pocket and as he was putting it around my neck and clasping it, he said, "I know you love surprises and this is the first one - just the beginning of a life full of surprises! I love you!".
It was pretty special. And yeah, it's been 18 years of surprises. :)

My ex sent me on a scavenger hunt across my college campus to find hidden notes he'd left for me. It ended on a bridge lit with candles and him standing there holding a bouquet of roses.

Some random guy wrapped his hands around my throat and smacked my head on the ground and started yelling obscenities at me and stole my purse. I thought it was beautiful..... *sniff* :*)
