I am yet to meet a member of this eastern faith that tries to convert people. They are a gentle bunch, with no murderous beliefs (except for their scr*wed up treatment of untouchables), they practise vegetarianism and are pacifists, and hold most animals holy, and so don't slaughter or hunt. Their beliefs are passed on to their next generation. With over 500 million of them, that is quite a positive impact on the ecology of the earth. It is a refreshing earth-friendly humanist faith compared with the murderous abrahamic trash that passes off as religion in the guise of christianity and islam.

Well, earlier with the joint-family system, the young children used to be told stories and myths from the Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bhagavad Gita, and other holy books, by their grand parents. Kinds used to grow up beliving all this from a very young age. Similarly they used to learn holy rituals and traditional practices by following the older people in the family during festival time.
These days, with more nuclear families, this becomes hard..but still visiting grand parents or comics and cd's of the indian stories and epics teach hindu children about their culture and religion from which their beliefs and practices are directly derived.

Hmm, i anticipate you're pertaining to the idea of reincarnation? i'm not a Hindu, yet have found that usually in India, even as persons frequently settle for that reincarnation takes position, they don't seem ahead to that, particularly they desire and pray they received't go back. so as that they are continually hoping it received't take position "back". Now the option seems typical contained in the West, among the very large numbers of human beings that position self assurance in reincarnation. the following its quite a lot a badge of honour to be able to state, I have had three hundred or possibly a million,000 lives. yet even contained in the West I have not in any respect ever heard any suggestion that there might want to be a "quota" which incorporates you infer. The implication is you save coming decrease back till eventually you've reached some not accessible to outline aspect of non secular progression.

With 10,000 gods anything is acceptable to them. They can blend in with any other religion and add a deity in their belief with no problem. They are chamelions and blend well with different cultures and beliefs.

They have their own Scriptures...the Vedas, the Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita. Also, local families and castes and villages have their own "gods" - there is a lot of oral tradition in Hinduism

Do not know. But if you do not believe that Jesus is the Son of the Father in Heaven ,and that Jesus died for our sins that we could be forgiven. You are worshiping the wrong god.
