Oh my goodness this is soo funny. Thank you so much for letting me tell this story. Okay so awhile back one of my good friends Jorge (who's Mexican), his (now) wife (who is generally fairly quiet) and I were driving to a movie and my friend pondered outloud, "did you ever notice how different cultures smell like the foods they eat?" I sort of tentatively muttered in the affirmative and he continued, "Mexicans smell like burritos. Asians smell like fish. Indians smell like curry." We all laughed. Then I wondered and asked, "what do white people smell like?" Without skipping a beat, Fatima immediately replied, "sandwiches."
Ohhhhohohhhooooooooohh!!!!!! Did we laaaugh!!! And it's sooooo true!!!! If there is any cultural food of caucasians it has to be the sandwich. Think.. PB&J. Hamburgers, Hot dogs, subs, philly cheese steaks. They are all sandwiches of one sort or another!!!!!
We smell like sandwiches. Mystery solved. ROFLMAO

Yes. I'm black and I've had a white, an Asian, a south American, and a Polynesian roommate at different times and yes everyone had a particular scent. In some cases due to the type of food that is eaten. It goes back to primal times when scent played a major part of our ancestors. One way to keep track of others like us or other members of our group was through scent. It's not as obvious since the invention of personal hygiene. But under the right circumstances with a good sniffer someone can tell the difference.

Each person will have a particular odor according to their hygiene habits and their diets. Some races of people have different chemistry due to diets and lifestyle... but for the most part we are all the same anatomically. For instance if I live within a cultural area where garlic was consumed with most meals, then my sweat would emit an aroma different from those who don't eat what I eat.... get the picture?

Each individual has his own scent. I don't know if people's scent is similar according to their race. I kind of doubt that, although I've never really thought about it before. I suspect it's more of a cultural/location thing though. I mean, people of the same culture or who live at the same location tend to use the same products (similar food, similar shampoos, cosmetics, laundry powder etc.), so maybe that's it, rather than it being connected to their race.

Great Question. Ha Ha! I used to think no. But then again I'm white. So I asked a Chinese fellow one day and he said we all smell like McDonald's french fries. Which makes a lot of sense.
That would make a great gag shirt. WHITE PEOPLE SMELL LIKE MICKEY Ds.

I learned this is psychology. every single person has a different distinct smell to them. we did this in class, if u blind fold someone and have other ppl be VERY quiet in the room, each individual person go up the the blind folded person and touch them from the upper chest and up; that person will try to guess who it was. usually when ur blind or have other disabilities, their other senses will become stronger. just like the person being blind folded, they may not know, but their brain and nose worked together to figure out who that person was; by the touching, and smelling. It pretty cool if u try it. So in other words, every person has a different smell, u may not know it... but ya do.

i think of you ask a great question. properly those with cats enable them to defecate and dig in a field interior the residing house. particular it stinks. Ug Then they permit them to stroll all around the counters, fixtures, and beds. How ought to it somewhat is extra undesirable than this. I cant think of putting my nutrition, or face the place a cat has been.

I think all people, regardless of what race you are, have a particular smell. I know black and white people that smell good, and some that STINK. I'm mixed race, so what do I smell like? (Depends on the day and time my brotha!)

This is a remarkable question. Most people notice things like that but never say anything. I admire your boldness.
To answer your question, Yes different ethnicity's do have distinct body odors. Diet is the reason for that. What a person eats can be malodorous enough to affect the pores and perspiration.
There was nothing wrong with that question. It was not offensive to me and I am a minority.
