Looks like you already got a lot of great ideas.
Are they in junior high? You can always use "jeapardy" in a variety of ways. "Christian music jeopardy" is fun, with music playing in the background. We even did musical chairs one time, real fast, for junior/high age, and it was hilarious, the way the kids ran for the last chair, with MWSmith, or SCChapman playing something loud and fun.
Sounds crazy, but it got everybody all loosened up.
:)

this one is my favorite-----you don't need sticky notes---they tend to come off easily---i used big paper clips and peices of paper-----papercliped the name of the person to the back of the shirt---this way they stayed on and you didnt ruin any clothes,
For this activity you will need one sticky note per person. On each note write the name of a celebrity, political figure, cartoon character, book character, etc. You can choose one category or mix them up. Use a different person for each note.
Place a sticky note on the back (or forehead) of each participant. The participants are to figure out who they are, but can only do so in the following manner. Find a partner and read each other's sticky notes. You may ask the other person three questions to which there are yes or no answers.
Once your questions have been asked and answered, make a guess as to your identity. If you are correct, move the sticky note to your chest and you become a "consultant" who gives clues to those still trying to figure out their identities. If you are not correct, find a new partner and repeat the process.
SPECIAL NOTE: Be sure to choose characters that are appropriate to the age of the participants to avoid "generation gap frustration."

I would like an ice breaker than transitions to thinking about somethign important and getting to know people. They shouldnt be too diffiicult or put people on the spot as you are trying to build positive experiences.
a artistic one
1) What songs about God do you like, or don't like? and why?
a personal emotions one
2) what are you afraid of? or really happy about if you prefer?
It also depends on the lesson... nice to tie it in if possible

Attach Biblical names on the back of each visitor(hide it from the person) and have each person ask question about that character listed on their back until all discover the name. Gets people talking. Make them the less common characters.

You can buy a Christian Board Game, or make flashcards out of index cards, and play teams.
