I've had a Sore Throat for almost 7 days now. Followed by Earaches and Fever. I know it's "that time of year" but I'm off at college and the infirmary hours are hard to see with my classes and other than that i take asprin and sleep to rid the pain. Should I be worried and take time to actually go see someone or is there something I can do to ease the pain without having to miss classes?

U r suffering from pharyngitis or tonsillitis U see sore throat is partly a disease in itself and partly an effect of other diseases. What u can do is have an AVIL 50 twice after meals. and gargle every now and then i.e. whenever u can and about 5-6 times a day with warm water with a pinch of salt added. For a better and quicker treatment u can drop a DISPRIN tablet whole in warm water and wait for it to fizz fully and then gargle with it. u can use two tablets in one day, but gargle a lot with salt water for the other available times. I f after two days the pain persists pls rush to a doc.

Throat lozenges help soothe the throat and ease the pain. Make sure you get to bed early, eat well, and gargle with salty water.
