I have seen this recently with several of my customers.....

They use the COMPONENT INPUTS....the ones with 5 connectors....2 for sound and 3 for picture.

The 3 picture ones can create the odd colors if any ONE IS PARTLY DISCONNECTED....that's the key.....IT may LOOK like it's connected....but don't trust it!

Take the connectors on your DVD and press them snugly into the proper connector.
Take the TV connectors and press them snugly into the TV..
Make sure Y goes to Y , Pr to Pr, and Pb to Pb.......that's the Green , Red and Blue cables....unless your using Non Component Cables.

Just make sure your cables are connected properly no matter what.....and if the problem still exists....GET a NEW set of cables for that UNIT ok?

Then try it again.......

More than likely this has to do with you not plugging the proper colored cords into the right spots, or you do have them in correctly but you have the wrong inputs chosen on your tv for the desired settings.... if using standard AV cables a red white and yellow make sure the colors match up in the correct input and go to menu on tv and choose that input... If using RGB, where you have a red white green blue and second red, plug white and red into audio ports that are designed for the same port as the Red, green, and blue... Then plug int he RGB in the correct colored spots and make sure they are in the same input as the audio... ex is input 1 will have and audio spot and then a component spot next to it... make sure both are in audio in 1 and video in 1... then just go to menu and set the desired input to audio 1 on the DVD player then the tv... hope it works...
