Definitely with more honey...although use some cider vinegar and you can kill fruit flies. :) Honestly, I think words of "honey" go a long way, though sometimes some hard truth is needed (depending on the person, of course...and I'm not talking about a "fight fire with fire" because that goes no where). However, I don't believe that anyone is forcing an opinion on anyone else. Are some hateful? Sure. But no one has put a gun to anyone's head requiring them to ask a question, read an answer, and accept the answer. Therefore, it's not force.

Forceful? Hateful? This is your opinion. The "tone" is in the eyes of the reader.
First of all my friend. I not trying to catch flies. I use neither honey or sugar. Truth only comes in one form. If you choose to read something as hateful and forceful. Seems YOU have the problem sir. I would suggest this: You tell the Gospel of Christ like you see it and don't worry about others.
If someone is outside the "teachings" of preaching the Gospel, I'm sure God will correct this.
BUT...The good news is this: YOU will not be held accountable for me. Isn't that great?

Nope flies are attracted more to the vinegar than the honey as it is attracted to fermentating fruits which produces acetic acid, of which vinegar is.
Vinegar is vinegar; honey is honey, they taste as they are regardless of how much you dress them up.

It depends on whether you want to be seen as a mean-spirited, closed-minded person, or as one who's examined the issue thoughtfully and has something to say about it. Knee-jerk insults are easy, but don't do a lot to get others to agree (or to even think seriously about the question).
So, I'd go for the honey.

I think the answer to this is .. it depends on the situation. Sometimes vinegar is better, sometimes honey is... just depends on the circumstances around it.

I like honey better, but it is hard not to get defensive when your beliefs are under constant scrutiny.

honeypot. honey can trap anything. vinegar is good for cleaning--maybe. thus, vinegar for hypocrites and honey for new ideas.
