if you eat local honey, it will help you build immunity to the pollons and stuff that give you allergies.
The egyptions use to use it to dress wounds.
Its good to take a spoonfull at night before bed to keep your sugar level even and curb appitite.

It does depend on the quality of the honey, but if eaten raw it can be used as an anti-bacterial, anti-viral or anti-fungal substance.
Also supposedly humans have been doing this for thousands of years, but honey has also been used to heal wounds. Its also a great natural source of sugar (instead of the processed stuff) and is great for athletes and just to give you a "pick-me up"

my nanna says that honey is one of the purest foods. she takes a teaspoon of honey every morning. if i feel a cold coming on she tells me to have some honey. i think its good for you because its already been digested by the bees. how this helps i dont know but my nanna is almost 90 and still going strong.
