i like this girl and i asked my ex, (who's friends with the girl i like) to ask her if she wants to go out with me. i know for sure also that my ex won't be jeouluse or anything because we agreed to break up and my ex and i are pretty good friends. i don't know if i should ask her myself or just wait a little longer. I asked my ex to ask her about 2 days ago and she still haven't told me. I know for sure that my ex told her, but why isn't she telling me anything? God. i guess im just nervous. we've been good friends for about 3 months and we practically hang out 24/7. so we know each other pretty well. now i like her alot more than just a friend and im the first one to ever ask her out. WHY ISN'T SHE SAYING ANYTHING? and should i ask her?

Go talk to her about it. She isn't going to want to if she doesn't think you can ask her yourself. Maybe she also feels guilty because a lot of girls won't go out with a guy after he has been out with their friend. You really need to talk to her about it.

I think the mistake was letting your ex in on your feelings. She might not be showing it, but jealousy and resent could be what's keeping you from knowing the real answer. The best way to solve this is to be a man and confront the girl you like yourself instead of sending her messages through an EX girlfriend. What kind of message does that send when you are getting messages of love from the ex of the one who claims to care?

If you think you are capable of maintaining a "mature" relationship, then be mature and talk to the girl yourself. Only children relay messages to love interests.

Relationships require maturity, trust and communication without a third party. If you are incapable of providing those qualities, then you are incapable of being in a relationship.

If you want it, go for it. Otherwise, quit talking.
