Tons of whole grains, rice, oats, whole grain breads, yes these seem fattening, but the cleanse your system, lower cholesterol, rid fat, and make you feel fuller. Lots of fresh (raw or steamed if you can) veggies, and all fruits that you like. You know hun, I have studied nutrition and natural healing and have been through nursing school, and the one thing people always think of as bad is sugar, but guess what, there is not much wrong with sugar at all if you buy the kind that is not white/refined, buy the turbino sugar or sugar in the raw i think its called, just don't pork out on sugary things thats all.... Also drinking lots n lots of water not only helps make you feel fuller, it flushes toxins from your body and plumps up your skin making you prettier. If you like pasta that is fine, just switch to whole grain pasta, it is healthier. Stay away from heavy cream sauces and too much butter. Forget fake sweeteners, your body doesn't recognise them as real food and stores them as toxins in your fat cells, ugh. Honey, raw sugar, rice syrup, maple syrup, are all good. Toss soda pop into the garbage where it belongs, drink your water with a twist of lemon or lime for flavor, it will grow on ya, lol. There are a million of online sites with healthy recipes, i would recommend vegetarian sites even if you eat meat because eating a meatless meal everyonece in awhile will be healthy and give your system a rest. If you get hungry for chocolate, you can make carob cookies, or just eat a small square of chocolate don't deny yourself of anything you love, just use a luncheon size plate and don't overdo your portions. Switching to rice or soy milk will save you fat calories and give you protein. I know you can make healthy changes, just do them slowly and before you know it you will shed some pounds and feel so much better.. Make sure you get fresh air, a little sun (20 minutes a day), and exercise. Just do what you think if fun, even if its a short walk around the block after dinner to rev up your metabolism. Don't go on a DIET, please. Just make healthy life choices. I wish you luck!

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
Get started today!

At 13 you should be worried about boys not diet.
Just stay away from pop/soda.and junk food. I'm sure your smart, just make healthy choices. Trust me, your young, your body will handle what you eat and activities you do. Worry about dieting when your old, not now. Talk to your mom, or a female that can advise you. Who knows your habits. Make sure you tell your doctor that you want to go on a diet, he/she will advise you because they know you best. Just remember as well you have to look good on the inside as well.

no, you should eat. Just eat anything but little on the junk food. and you must do exercise to get your body in good looking shape. all the girl dancers in my school have hot bods. cheerleading or something can do it too. you really don't want to be that skinny cause you'll be flat as hell with no buns and thighs and no guys will ever like you. super skinny is seriously freakin ugly.

I drink grape fruit juice. I prefere Ruby Red cause it has it's own sugar and try pickles. Not at the same time because then your grapefruit juice will taste funny but something in those burns off belly fat. I tried this and it worked and take walks. This will also trim you down.

Eat lots and lots of vegetables. Avoid sugar as much as possible, and drink lots of water. :) Also, avoid white flour products, like white bread, white pasta...go for whole wheat.
