I have a foster kitten that will be 3 weeks tomorrow. I was wondering when she should start to run around. She walks very good.

She is a foster kitten. I will be giving her and her mother back to the Cat rescue center when she reaches 8 weeks of age.

She is just now getting used to being able to see, plus at such a young age, she is probably still sleeping alot. Very soon, in a week or two, she will get more playful and get into everything (lol).

You can encourage her by pulling a string past her so she has something to chase. This will teach her to "hunt".

I basically found a kitten that was a few days old. Not sure but her eyes were open. I was told that if you don't stimulate them to poop then they will die. (The mother usually does it with her tongue.) Not only did I bottle feed this kitten with KMR, I was rubbing her little bottom with my gloved finger. She really went very little at first. Just like one piece in the first week but I can't tell you how happy I was to see it! Just stimulate her for several minutes like before you go to work and when you get home. Even if nothing happens right then, it will work eventually. Now I can't get her to stop!!!

I just raised 4 kittens from 3 weeks old. At 5 weeks, all four of them were running around so fast, I literally could not keep track of them.

The downfalls are not a lot as long as you comprehend that a cat isn't a dogs- they sometimes do not come even as referred to as, and they are very self sustaining- in addition they want to be conscious at evening more effective than in the course of the day. My daughter would allow you to comprehend that cleansing the clutter container is the biggest dowside- she believes it really is going to be on "Dirtiest Jobs." How about the positives? If dealt with nicely, they'll want your cuddles and experience you petting them and scratching their fashionable spots (for absolutely one of ours it really is in the back of the jaw on the neck, for yet another it really is in the back of the ears) they are ultimate at letting you comprehend in the adventure that they want something and adapt o.k. to a agenda. they don't call for a lot of your interest (unlike a dogs) and do not require walks. they are undemanding to coach to stay off tables and to not climb the curtains yet my fashionable is they do use a clutter container and not often do their organisation outdoors of the container ( also, unlike a dogs) we are dogs enthusiasts (we've 2) and would not in any respect have considered possessing a cat yet one got here with our abode and considering that than we've rescued 2 others- what a excitement they are and we received't imagine our lives without them.

Don't be too anxious for him to start running around. Trust me, read my most recently asked question and you'll see what I deal with in my 4 month old kitten. Enjoy him calm while you can. lol.

1. She is just a baby - be patient.
2. They start to run at 5-6 weeks - mine did.
