My cat chews through the bread bags and eat the whole loaf, everyday. I have to lock the bread up so the cats can't get to it.

Cats are naturally attracted to yeast. To them it's sweet. My cats used to do that too. Keep the bread in the fridge or a breadbox.

LOL my cat did the same thing all the time. I'd get so mad, brand new loaf of bread on the counter, wake up it'd be shredded and no bread left. My ex boyfriend fixed that, said ok, you want bread here you go. Gave him bread in his food bowl, sat there for 2 days. Cat got the hint. Now I've got a dog that does that if I don't put it away.

I'd recommend getting a bread box, I've got one of those plastic containers with a lid, holds a loaf of bread.

Sounds like your cat either loves the taste of bread or the texture of it! Good idea to lock up the bread because cats should be eating cat food.

i does no longer difficulty too a lot approximately this in view that cat dry nutrition is made quite often out of wheat. So in essence they're eatting wheat besides. regardless of if, i does no longer make this a habit giving her bread. it grants her gas seeing she would not have the right enzymes in her abdomen to digest the bread correct. yet, i does no longer difficulty too a lot approximately it. i'm hoping this enables.

I had to start keeping my bread in the fridge when I caught my cat eating the hamburger buns.

wow..it's the first time i've ever heard that. you can use the bread as occational treats for the cat, but make sure you lock it up. they're suppose to eat cat food, not bread.

and remember, OCCATIONAL!!
