I think the chances of his return in my lifetime are almost certain! Matthew Ch.24 mentions the state that the world will be in at the time of his return and we se it all around us today. Jesus said all these things would happen in the space of one generation and I believe it is the generation which is alive today as we see wars and rumors of wars, nation against nation, famine, plagues, earthquakes happening everywhere and droughts. My own personal opinion is that what we are experiencing now is simply a run up to the tribulation which will be a time more terrible on the earth than any other. Just one factor alone is the fact that the two witnesses mentioned in Revelations will have the power to "shut up heaven" so that there will be no rainfall for the first half of the 7 year period and already we see rainfall everywhere drying up and some countries are experiencing the worst drought in recorded history. The Lord knew what he was talking about as he told us these things so that when we saw them come to pass we would remember that he said it over 2000 years ago and that we would know for certain that he was who he claimed to be. When John wrote Revelations about 95AD he also mentioned that the two witnesses would eventually be overcome and killed and their dead bodies would lay in the streets of Jerusalem for 3 1/2 days and the whole world would see them lay there. John had no way of knowing that the whole world would have the media of T.V. which accounts for how the entire world will see this event. We are also told that in the last days men would depart from the truth and follow after false doctrine which we also see everywhere. I know I will be glad to be alive when the rapture occurs as this world offers nothing worth taking into eternity (except our families)

I believe Jesus will return to earth during my lifetime. There are lots of signs of the end times. Hopefully, we will not have to wait too much longer.

The beauty of it is that we don't know when it will happen. It could be any day soon or later, but the bible promises that Jesus will return, and God has never gone back on his word.

I have no idea when God will say "enough is enough" and put an end to our misery once and for all.
I'm ready, but just for the sake of my girls having a great life, I hope it's not soon.

Unlikely. The thing is we do not have to wait until he comes. We can go to him at the time of our death. Whatever ones consciousness is at the time of death is what they attain in their next life. If one thinks of God or Gods representative (Christ) at the time of death they will attain his abode. Go to http://www.essene.org to see the lost teachings of Christ
