In Alberta, kegs usually cost around $300.00, but some of that is deposit...

You pay a deposit on the tap and the pump that is refundable when the keg is returned...

I believe that you get around $120.00 back, so the beer itself costs you around $180.00 for a full keg (which is around 54 litres). At least it was the last time I checked. I have never bought a keg, but I have checked into it several times... Its probably different in each province because the liquor regulations change from province to province... most liquor stores can supply you with kegs if you give them a couple weeks notice (however, Ontario might be different because I know that province has liquor laws that are way different than ours).
