NO! For one it is not necessary. I have 4 dogs about 7yrs old. The most they get bathed is once a year at the groomers when I have the long haired two groomed.
The other two short haired dogs have never been bathed. They clean themselves. Even if they play, dig in the mud in bout an hour they would be clean again.
The three that sleep with me are so clean that if/when the top "DOG Blanket" gets dirty they will lick/clean it before laying down. After I wash it they are satisfied.

No. A dog only needs a bath about once a month. Too many baths will dry out the skin and you will have a lot of problems with that.

Every day bathing is not good for dogs. It will dry his/her skin. I made this mistake with my dog. I wasn't bathing her everyday, but once a week. She actually developed dandruff. The Vet told me once a month is enough to bathe a dog. I did this. Too my surprise she never developed a bad odor, and the dandruff went away. Be careful what shampoo you use too. It's best to get doggy shampoo from a pet supply store.

A dog really shouldn't be bathed more than every 7 - 10 days. Why would you want to bathe a dog everyday?

I think the only dogs that need more frequent baths are the hairless because they get acne if their skin isn't kept clean.

In a word NO! You are going to take out too much oil from the animals skin, and you will cause dermatitis - costly and annoying for the animal. You can always use some talc powder but getting hold of some that contains NO ALUMINIUM and brush in to the animals fur. Ideally the dog needs to be bathed no more often than 4-6 months.

A dogs skin produces an oil that protects them. If you bathe them everyday, then it removes their oils and can get dry and irritated. They will start to scratch the dry skin, and then it will create lesions and could get infected.

Stick to bathing no more than once a month or so.

no, it dries out the skin and stops the natural oils from protecting the fur. Also a dog cleans itself so you shouldn't have to bathe it daily. I work at a dog groomers and we recomend a good bath every 4-6 weeks.

Once a week or 2 is plenty. Make sure you use a doggie soap, very mild and just put a little...Brush your dog (gently) before the bath. Always be gentle to your dog bathing him. When scrubbing, don't use or a brush but gently use your hands; this action just by itself will bond the two of you for life...
