I can talk with my guy friends fine but when it comes to the guy I like I always avoid talking to him. I always end up talking to him online and never at school. I must look like a freak but I avoid his looks and everything. I just want to know how I can be less shy...I think it may be a self-confidence issue...but I mean I know I'm pretty. I just compare myself to other girls all the time..ugh. High school sucks. Please someone help me..

This isn't about a specific guy...I just need help on talking to guys I don't know that well in general. Like, my guy friends aren't attractive so they are easier for me to talk to because I don't care how I look to them...but the guys I like are always out of my league...I mean I'm not a loser or anything but I'm just not part of that exclusive popular group. In our school, those guys only date other popular girls...its hopeless for me. ugh.

The first step is being confident in whatever you do. It might be high school but it doesn't mean that you have to compare yourself to the other girls. No person is alike. If you can talk to your crush on line then you can talk to him in person. Act like he is just one of the guys.

be your self and be and be more open. try ot to hide. I have been in the same issue but know I am talking to the guy I like

Maybe you might get something going on where you and he can meet after school. It might become a little easier then.

Well don't look at his face try his sholder or feet like your sad or some thing and he'll try cheer you up if he likes youor at least ask.

Get to know him well and then you will feel comfortable. You will both feel comfortable around each other. Know that you both really do know each other well.
