Today I took my road test and I was so nervous. I'm usually very nervous around people I don't know and to top it off, the guy giving the test was very nasty. He said I had poor judgement in traffic, I forgot to check my blind spot when I was pulling from the curb, and told me I failed by six points. I think the reason I messed up was because I was extremely nervous. It was probably one of the worst moments of my life when he said "I can't pass you this time". I feel like a loser because I'm 18 and I couldn't pass on the first try. :(((((

don't feel bad, lots of people flunk the first time. i sure did. look every road test is the same . pull out into traffic drive around the block, park, back into traffic and return. practice it over and over until you can do it without thought. make a point of checking youe mirrors before every move. make every stop last a couple of seconds longer that needed, look around a lot at corners and when entering traffic. keep your head on a swivel and look. give oncoming cars extra clearence. 6 points isn't all that bad. you can do it, relax, the guy doesn't really want to flunk you and woun't unless you really blow it. BTW the nasty is an act meant to rattle you. he can't kill you and he woun't eat you.
