You took the most important step and that is admitting that you are depressed and asking for help. A number of things can bring you into depression and it can also be a hereditary traight. If you are thinking of suicide you really should see a doctor about getting antidepressents. Don't be imbarrased or shy about it, a lot of people are suffering from depression and doctors are there to help. I wouldn't rely on solely the medication, but it is a great start and will help you to think more clearly and positively. Before you enter any kind of relationship you have to be able to be happy with yourself and respect you and your body. If you don't love who you are you can't truly love and appreciate someone else, the negative energies you cary with you will poison a relationship over time. Find a way to appreciate who you are and be happy with your life. Go camping for a week and get away from the city and everyone else, it will help you clear your mind. I don't care if you think you can't afford the time off work or school, you can, what you can't afford is to keep living in this dark cloud. So take the time off and just go do it, you'll thank yourself later and be happy you did. You might also want to book a body talk session. It helps ballance your body and mind and leaves you with a sense of well being. If interested I can give you someones number for an appointment. Hi there,
I just wrote a letter to someone else "suffering depression and I feel this is such good advice so I copied it and am putting it down here. Please please everything you describe is from a certain way of thinking and reacting to a program you were given from your first word and at every age the program increased. So you judge yourself according to it.
Any way let me just paste the material I sent this other wonderful person (keep your language up there This is what your thoughts
circle around. Before you know it you are a wonderful person)
I will add one more book I didn't put in this other letter which never fails to remind me of my direction. That is Tony Robbins
Awaken the Giant Within
If you see his infomercial get his tapes or pay the money to go to one of his seminars - oh the energy the energy and transformation you will feel are phenomenal - He probably lists the addresses to get these tapes and the seminar in back of the book.
P A S T E
I see you're "depressed" because of "events". Please get two books which are right up the alley of this subject of how you approach life. You're saying things to yourself which hypnotise you into this feeling you called depression. So a little deprogramming is called for.
First book ASK AND IT IS GIVEN by Abraham and Esther Hicks
She is channeled. Husband takes the notes. Not too much said about that after the beginning of the book. It's just a lot of insightful messages as how to get what you want in this world and how to make your moods good. Esther even lists the various heirarchy of feeling and suggests when you know which one you're in you should think of something that would be the next level and go to that level and that will pull you out of it. I think the level up from depression is anger. Then you just keep going up as slowly as need be with simple ways to do it. This gal is unique. Her writing keeps you very positive. This book gives you something to work with that works.
B&N has it. Or look it up on internet.
The second book is a gem of understanding on what's crippling your spirit I've used it for many years and always suggest it to other people who feel confusion with this world. It can be sent for. It was $8 when I bought it.
Practical insightful interesting, so don't be scared off by the name.

If it doesn't sound right for you then it definitely is. Why? Because you've been sucked into one way of thinking. And it isn't working for you. You have to make a brave leap into another way of thinking.
Your whole letter has a language of despair. And the language will keep you in despair. No reward will lift you for long. You can change this by changing to good mentors in life such as those I suggest above.
If this rings a bell don't procrastinate a day on getting reading and discovering your authentic self.
Knowledge of the right kind solves anything

If you do not like yourself then you do not know yourself. You were made in the image of God. That means that you are like Him in spirit. I suggest reading the Bible and read the Gospels, Matt. Mark. Luke and John. Learn what Jesus is like and then head for that image. It doesn't mean you will be exactally like Jesus because God has His own plan for you. If you surrender the character that you think you are and let God put the character in you that you are suppose to be, you will love that person because it is Love and it is you. Depression is an illness that occurs when you collect negative aspect of the past and somehow let them hitchike on your mind into the future. The only thing that you really need to concern yourself with is the moment you are in. What ever was is gone and what ever is going to be isn't here yet. The way we critique ourselves is the way we will manifest on the natural plane. Don't let garbage thinking ride into the future with you. Sweep out the hotel and don't even let negative stuff into the lobby. You are the door man. It is good to have Jesus setting at the desk so nothing that gets past you can check in. You may even have to clean out some rooms that some old demons have already gotten into. That is done by the renewing of your mind, and if Jesus is at the desk, He will definitly send His Holy Spirit to comfort you and to teach you how to maintain and to get the garbage away from you.
Peace, the Rev.

If you happiness is dependent on a gf then you need to boost your self-esteem. You kinda hate yourself? Either you do or you don't, why hate yourself? What have you done that you hate yourself?
I suggest you understand that your hormones are whacky and you need to focus on things like your school work, maybe get involved in sports, or something you enjoy. Talk to a counselor at school, that's what they're there for. Wanting to kill yourself is not normal and you need to talk to someone as soon as possible.
Everyone has a purpose in life. You need to figure out what that is, usually you have talents you can use. Do you have God in your life? He shows us our destiny and it is the best. You may want to turn to Him. He never lets us down.

I know what it is like to be depressed with low self-esteem and keeping myself shut up inside my house away from people.
Depression can kill you if you don't talk to someone about it.
Have you considered a counselor?
This is a very healthy option and will work wonders on resolving issues that can affect you and the people around you.

You have a right to express yourself. What is important is to know what to do and what not do about about your situation. Obviously, I would like you to promise to take care of yourself physically and mentally. Physical taking care of yourself includes not harming your body in any way. Mentally caring for yourself includes not criticizing yourself. Since you are in a depression, it is even more important that you keep your body and mind in good health. When you are physically and mentally in good shape, you are attractive. Guess what you need to work on is your own self esteem and capabilities.
Good luck and take care!

Pray for youself, and I'll pray for you too. We all get lonley. Hell I just broke up with my boyfriend. You can't be happy in a relationship if you're not happy first. Pray to God, the angels, or whoever your beliefs lay in. Ask for help, and you'll get it. You are God's child, so in that capicity, you are perfect in his eyes. We all have our faults, but I have a feeling you're probably a great guy. Write down all the positive things in your life. It'll help. :)

dude wait it out a little more the right girl will come to you. some times i think about killing my self because the girls that i see at times make me wish that i never been with one. most of them are allot of trouble and are not worth your time because most of them don't even know what they want. sex is often more trouble then it is worth. i wish i was a virgin.
