favoured land of God? The new Holy land?
Why is this?

I'm a Christian from the USA and I know it certainly is not, not by far, the favored land of God. My advice, save your time because you can always ask why some people do the things they do and you'll never really come up with a good answer because no two people are the same.

Being American, I do not think this is favoured OR Holy Land.To tell you the truth I think that this is an evil country.Babylon, it is.Intolerance for other people,corrupt government,and greed have made this country intolerable.

We are not the NEW Holy Land.
We are the Old Holy Land. Has nothing to do with Israel EXCEPT that we USA and Israel are Sisters, with England.
GOD Raised up America (Through a Contract with the Pilgrams) so that HE would have a Place to SEND out HIS People to ALL OF THE WORLD.
If you get Born-Again, you will Become part of a NATION with-in a NATION.
Futher Explanation:
All Children of GOD are Citizens of the Nation of GOD (Born-Again Believers on the Earth).
The Nation of GOD is Mainly Still in America where it was Brought Up.
Any Child of GOD not Living in America, is Still in the Nation of GOD Almighty.

Everyone thinks their country is the favored land of God.
Besides all the hate poured on Americans, the US people give more help to poor countries than any other nation on earth.

That's a weird misconception; I don't..its just land...there's nothing holy or evil about it...well except Las Vegas but that's pretty much it, for the most part.

This is nationalism but not only Americana's but all the nationalist believe that all over the world, as long as it is controlled with respect of the others should be OK all the parents think their kids are the best looking.

God made earth and the whole universe. land of God is not USA alone or Israel.. but the whole universe. if USA or Israel land of God, how many of you ever see god there?

I really can't see why they think that. At least not in the last three centuries.
There is a book called " the light and the glory" it deals with the christian roots of the USA.
There are those who dispute the actuality of the claims in the book. They are WRONG.

I have never called the US the new holy land or heard it referred to in that manner. I do believe God has blessed us, because we support Israel (and His word says, whoever blesses Israel, He will bless), and also because there are millions of born again believers in His son interceding in prayer for America on a continuing basis.
