Mine was like a thick discharge, white-ish. I didn't know it was the plug coming out. .. it leaked all day. Went to the dr and they confirmed it was the plug. (Went into labor that night. I was 10 days late with my first.)

It can range from clear thick stuff like snot, to kind of pink, to almost a tan color. All are normal and ok. I lost mine gradually over the coarse of a few days, it was a clear tan color. You probably will loose more in the next week. How far along are you? I was told by my doctor that it shouldn't be bloody...it may be blood tinged though.

It is a HUGE glob of mucus. It has blood mixed in with it and it is a lot. It seems like you are wiping forever and getting no where.

It can look pinkish and slimy or it could be clear and slimy just like mucous from your nose when you have a cold or the flu.

Snot...like a "loogie." Lovely, really. My husband and I were mortified when we saw it. I'm not sure why they call it a "plug." It should be called a "mucus loogie snot ball." LOL
