Lord of the Flies - William Golding.

I read this in school when I was 15, and found one character in it who was
more like me than anyone I'd actually met.
That helped me to understand that I wasn't alone in the world.

It made sense of who I was, and changed my life for the better.
I guess if I were a writer, that's what I'd want my books to do.

Thanks for asking!
