The weather changes triggers my sinuses, I spend so much time during the year going to the doctor to get medication that I feel like I live there. I end up having flu like symptoms and shut down. Is there anything herbal, vitamin, natural that would help with this.

ohhh girl, been there, done that! I know first hand. Sinus is the worst. See if you can get your doctor to prescribe you a nasal spray called Nasonex...that is like a gift from heaven...seriously! It worked great wonders on me. Take 2 nose sprays in each nostril daily and youre good to go.

I have had chronic sinusitis and constant respiratory infections. Nasonex really helps as well as allergy medication. Go see an immunologist and get tested for allergies. Also try ENT Sol. it is a supper salty saline that you can find at a drug store but you usually have to ask the pharmacist for it as it is kept behind the counter. It is all natural. Irrigation is key to sinus issues. If you continue to have problems, ask your immunologist to test you antibody levels (IgG).

There is a natural and healthy super juice that is available that has helped me with my sinus problems. I am not totally off of my medication but I have cut way back since I started drinking this super juice (3 oz per day). It is full of vitamins and antioxidants as well as phytonutrients that are very good for your general health.

I have sinus problems too. I don't think that viatmins, herbal, or anything natural would help. When you get a problem with your sinuses get plenty of rest, drink plenty of liquids, and here's what my little sister does and I know it is old ... eat chicken soup.

Go to your doctor you may need sinus surgery to fix your sinuses if its an on going affair. Also try having a hot bath or shower the steam may help loosen them up.

My herbalist told me to stay away from certain products such as yogurt, milk, cheese, and eggs as they have a tendency to increase sinus infections in people prone to it. Additionally, try ALJ (an herbal product using thyme, fenugreek, and goldenseal). Take it as a preventive method, so take it daily. Since taking it, my infections have cut down considerably, even though I still do get them, which does require office visits for me, but it certainly has helped.

first of all u should know to which u r allergic to.may be cod wind ,ice cream.ALLERGIES LEAD TO INFLAMMATION AND IT IN TURN LEAD TO INFECTION.
M y advise is cut down all sugars and dairy products when u feel the symptoms try to use more pure lime juice in dishes , try usweetened cranberry juice(dilute it with 5 parts of luke worm water. These give good relief.Bottom line try to maintain alkalinity in the body so no allergy or infection bothers u.Breathing exercises are very good to widen the nasal tubes.Good luck, take care
