I think you already asked this question...
Dip kiss
close kiss but don't touch lips
kiss on side of mouth
put faces close (face away from audience) and act like you're kissing w/o puckering up
just kiss him! no big deal in the long run...but i understand how you feel.

I've been there! In high school, the director just let us do this dip/lean thing that looked like we kissed but we really didn't. That one is hard to explain. In college-the director wanted me to really kiss him-he was my friend but I thought of him more of a brother. During rehearsal-I squirmed so much that the director got on me for it. So we practiced-which was not fun but I had to just get comfortable with him and we did fine. I would ask the director-they will let you know what they will let you do.

Of course, just give the appearance of a kiss by using angles, point of view, etc. If you have long bushy hair use it a curtain. You could hold his face (behind your hands the audience will not really be able to tell what kind of kiss you are giving him). Just act out the emotions of passion and lust w/out lip contact...it'll work.

If you really don't want to kiss this guy talked to the person in charge of the play, i am sure they wouldnt mind taking that part of the play out. Good luck

If you're an actress, just kiss him. There's no shame in kissing him on stage.

Do NOT fake the kiss; everyone is going to know it. Especially if you want to save face, just kiss him. If you're worried, talk to him about it.

If you knew about this, why didn't you quit the play to begin with?

Just do a "kiss-dip" with one of your backs toward the audience. Pucker your lips, but don't connect. It works! No one in the crowd will be the wiser.

Haven't you ever noticed in some movies the girl brings her hand up to her face and puts it on her face and his? It blocks the audience view and you could get away without actually having to kiss him.

Well, back when I was in high school, I was in the pit band of a school musical, and there's one scene that the couple have to kiss, and what they did was, they hide their faces in an angle, and fake kissed eachother. instead of on the lips, you kiss him on the side of his face close to his lips.

One way they used to do it in the movies was if you hold the boys face in your hand ... like put your fingers on one cheek and your thumb on the other and kinda sqeeze his lips a little it looks like he's puckering up ... then you lean forward and kiss your OWN hand .... might just work???
