Since obtaining this loan 6 years ago, we have truly been blessed, as it is almost paid off. We didn't take this opportunity lightly, and have also helped several people along the way, by offering them a place to stay in this house after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. God gave us a chance, and through devout stewardship and tithing everything has worked out fine. We have worked very hard since then, and God blesses us daily.Had we not been able to have this house, we wouldn't have been able to help others, as our house was too small before. I see where you didn't put my whole answer to your question on here, I also had added that my sister was healed from her colon cancer after receiving a diagnosis of no chance. Through prayer, God gave her a chance, and she is ever so grateful as well.

Sure you can pray for a loan. The word says you have not because you ask not.
We as Christians are called to rely on God's storehouse. He provides all we need above and beyond. Good measure pressed down over flowing.
I think it is wonderful that she prayed, and gave God the glory and honor.Would Jesus approve? Yes, and it says in John that he prays for us, So he prayed with her.
Totally scriptural... Totally Blessed.

Yes, it is absolutely okay!!! J.P let me ask you something. If you were in a situation where you barely had enough money to pay the rent , or barely even to get food, would YOU pray for a loan?Jesus said that "when in need, come to me". He would approve. We are his children and he would not let any of us be hurt. Have a good day J.P.
GOD BLESS YOU

She prayed for supply and that supply was met. Now when on owe someone or an institution, they then are NOT their own masters and they must now, as quickly as possible pay for the house, thus demonstrate that they can pay for the house and get the loan paid off. Sounds like your friend is grateful enough for the supply that has been met in the house, that they will honor Jesus buy getting the loan paid off as quickly as possible.
Supply comes to us in many forms and many ways. Every time you get a pay check that is supply being met and every time you use your credit card it is a form of supply being met, albeit not the best way to use supply, but the next best thing.
Jesus I believe requires us only to recognize where our supply comes from and then give unwavering gratitude for it.

It is ok to talk with God about absolutely anything on your mind. He knows your heart anyway, so he knows you want the loan whether you pray about it or not.
That doesn’t mean you will get what you pray for, or as quickly as you want.

If you don't have the credit needed for the loan and you still got it you may be headed for trouble. You need to ask yourself if owning a home is worth getting into a huge financial mess. I don't think it is an answered prayer from God that you got a loan after all "you reap what you sow". If you are going to pray, pray for guidance to do God's will not for anything monetary.

You don't directly ask God for a specific item. What you do is ask God to guide you in your attitude and life decisions. Go to Him like a child goes to a parent. Ask for His assistance in having your heart right. If you always focus on Him, always wait on Him, always set aside your wants and welcome His giving yu your needs, then blessings will come of it. God does not always answer with a Yes or a No. Sometimes, it's just a "not now".
For people to use God as a means to get something they want is selfish and disrespectful to God. It does not follow God's ways.
