Honda S2000 a dependable Japanese car That takes regular 87 octane gas and is cheaper to maintain also it has lower miles and is 4 to 9 years newer and still under warranty. The Mercedes and BMW are costly to maintain and the fuel economy sucks especially when you have to pay over 40 cents a gallon more for the high octane gas and have no warranty.

The Honda is the best buy.

The benz and the BMW are good cars that the owners would have kept in good condition. They always have a high resale value according to the blue book

I would 1999 Benz, it is a nice looking car, and there are more BMW's out there than the Benz.

Personally the first thing I would do is find a friend who knows a little about cars and take them to each one of them. A mechanic or even another person will think of things to look at that you didn't. Personally if the Honda was taken care of properly and you plan to do the same I would suggest the Honda. The lower the miles, newer the car & the added bonus of the warrenty make it the best option in my mind.

I would go for the Honda, the miles on it are less then your other choices, the Honda product is very reliable. The cost of maintenance and repairs should be lower if necessary.

I would have it checked over by a reliable mechanic that works on the Honda product on a regular basis, he/she will know the recalls, can advise on any common problems and cost of repairs.

With this information, I'd go with the Honda (good warranty)

Mercedes, regardless of their reputation, has had repair problems.

BMWs have a little better repair history, but are still below Honda as a group.

If you don't mind having to get repairs, then take your pick.

If you're certain about that price on 1999 CL500........ then I'd get that ASAP. I can't find one priced less than $19k anywhere around here.

Edit: Nevermind I found a few for around $15k searching nationwide.

I'd probably get the S2000 (it has 240hp).
