I am currently bored of the Ramen Noodles with a spice packet and soon will be going to college and going on a steady diet of the stuff. I need to add something to it to make it less boring! Right now I will drop a few eggs in and that is pretty good but I would like a few more ideas.

I like mine without anything in it but DBF likes to scramble an egg and put it in the liquid.

I love Ramen Noodles also. For a variation add frozen veggies, hot pepper (Red Chili Flakes), pieces of shredded cooked chicken (from a can is fine), shrimp, leftover thinly sliced steak or pork chops, scallions (sliced green onions), and or canned, drained water chestnut for crunch.

Believe it or not the Ramen Noodles also make a great change of pace salad. Take washed and dried romaine lettuce torn into bite-sized pieces and sliced slivered almonds (from a small package), a can of drained Mandarin orange slices, and broken up raw Ramen noodle pieces. Use the left over juice from the mandarin oranges and the spice packet with a little oil to make the dressing. Pour on top and
toss. Enough for you and several friends for little $. Enjoy!

I love those noodles. To spice it up you can add some chicken with carrots and other veggies that you might like. You can also add some chopped meat. If you have only a microwave to utilize there are good microwavable chicken pieces that you can use.

The rice dishes in packets are also tasty, but be careful because some of them are high in sodium.

Personally, I am big into hot sauce. I like putting some tobasco in there to spice it up...really good in top ramen. Also, putting some veggies in there is really good too.

Try adding one slice of cheese for each package of noodles you make. My husband loves it and wont eat them without the cheese. I like them both ways.

If you have leftover deli meat, chicken, steak.etc. cut it up and put it in their. If you can steam up some broccoli and cauliflower it will be a good meal too.

Add corn, carrots, onions... a couple of drops of soy sauce and make a Asian style soup.
