Assuming your boyfriend has an email address of his own - whoever sent the invite was / is looking to make trouble. In my humble opinion. And if it was a girl - Invite or not - if he goes - YOU GO.., just to keep the boyfriend honest and the hussy who sent the the invite to begin with.

You didn't say if it was a guy or gal who sent it - so I am speculating naturally.

If it was a guy who sent it - most guys don't have any brains in t he etiquette department and would probably expect you to show too. In my humble opinion

Unless the invitation inside says "Boy friend and girl friend" or "Boy friend and guest", then no. You are not invited. C/O means "in care of", meaning the the person is not the main resident but can be reached through that residence. You of course have failed to mention what kind of party it is.

I would say that you were not intentionally invited but if it is the type of party that one would bring a date, then you are definitley welcome as a guest of he who is invited.

If not, the person inviting your boyfriend is amazingly rude.

Well, OK, maybe just ignorant about ettiquette.

Depends on what type of party it is.....if it is a type of party that will include other women.....then yes...and if he has issue with that....then you my want to considering perminently uninviting him to your party.
