yes its a medical condition. its called a sugar craving. see a nutritionist.
if you are unable to strongly discourage the child to eat sugar, later there will be further health problems that are much worse, like diabetes and obesity.

There is no medical condition. The kids I'm around are like that too.
Take the sweets away and tell her no. If she gets mad or throws a fit, let her. Just leave the room. She'll eventually get bored or tired. Eventually her hunger will take over and she has to eat what you want her to eat.
Just remember, you're the parent, you're incharge.

Sounds like she's trying to push your boundaries. Don't give into her. Limit how much sugar she gets. My parents never taught me that eating too much sugar can lead to type 2 diabetes and now I'm prediabetic. Sugary treats are yummy, but they need to play a very small role in her diet. Almost all people will choose a candy bar over fruit. It's your job to make the choice for her. You're the parent, not her.

Are you serious?
Just deprive her, and be firm.
Explain to her non stop that it is dangerous to her health, and dont be weak before her tears.
Do not let her destroy her health...Obvious no ?
