If I had over 10 Terabytes of storage space, would I still need to consider a compressing tool considering that I download music and movies?

10 Terabytes is waaaaay big storage ... if you ever go close to filling it ... you're spending too much time on the net ... your legs will cease to function soon

No, because if you have 10 terabytes (Wow! that's a lot) of storage space that would be more than enough. Actually i've never seen a person in my life that has a 10 terabyte hard drive.
