You should replace your hairbrush at least once a year. Dirt and oils get trapped in the bristles from your hair ans can end up making your hair greasy if you continue to use the brush. If you don't want to replace your hairbrush, you can always wash it with antibacterial soap and water. Smooth some conditioner onto the hairbrush and then rinse thouroughly. It will be as good as new. However, if many bristles are missing, I would definitely reccomend replaceing your hairbrush. I hope this helps.

no i dont think u need to regulary replace a hairbrush. i guess u just need to keep it clean like removing all the hair from the bristles frequently or even washing it since little dust can collect in the bristles. i doubt bristles get dull easily

No. Not unless you are using a cheap plastic one. You should be using a mix of boar bristle and plastic or pure boar bristle; depending upon your hair type Washing your brush once a week in mild shampoo and warm water, then placing the brush in a clean area with the bristles down, will keep it for years.

Beacuse you brush can start to lose its bristles and it will build up on things like gel mousse ect. Remember to clean out the hair in your brush often and to was it with hot water and soap too. It can build up bacteria that is why you wash it. So i hope i helped you out =)

NO! Just soak in a water-shampoo mixture to get rid of all of the gunk and hair. Let it air dry overnite and voila - it's like new again.

Build up of gel, hairspray or hair products. It will have this crushy film on your brush which will end up in your hair and look like flakes. Nasty!
