i'm gonna suggest conditioning treatments once a week like Bed Head's peppermint hair soak. And everytime you condition your hair, leave it in for about 10 minutes, then rinse with cold water. The warm water opens the hair cuticle, the 10 minutes is good time to penetrate, the cold water seals the moisture in. Conditioning treatments can't repair split ends, so for that I suggest regular trims, but they can help the texture. Paul Mitchell Super Strength Treatment is a good conditioner. Also Paul Mitchell Gloss Drops are excellent for shine. I find they work better than BioSilk or SilkInfusion by CHI

If your hair is dry don't wash them every day! Shampoo and hot water are the biggest moisture zappers there are!
<>First of all get a shampoo that is for animals and humans (I pesonally recommend Mane 'n Tail) So you can be sure that there are no chemicals.
<>Then, get a good hairmask. Use it every other month.
<>The months you don't use the hair mask pour oil on your hair in the shower and wash and condition as usual.
<>Every week put a mayo mixture and leave in over night. Wash it out in the morning.
Here is the Recipe:
1 cup mayo
1/4 cup sour cream
1 raw egg
1/8 cup extra virgin olive oil
Directions:
<>Mix together and slather on dry or wet hair.
<>Massage into your head for 5 minutes.
<>Put a shower cap on your head and a towel on your pillow.
<>Wash out in the morning.
(<>if you can't sleep with it leave it in for at least 1 hour and then wash out in the morning).

<>If you have oily hair pour lemon juice or vinigar on your hair instead of the oil.

****<>****Always do a final rinse in cold water. This will seal up the hair cutical and give you shine, and a lot less breakage.****<>****

Use good shampoo and conditioner... and maybe leave in conditioner. This might sound weird, but raw eggs add shine to hair. If you lather them into your hair while in the shower and rinse well, then you will have a shine that isnt greasy.

olive oil is ideal for dry hair. Apply to wet hair over the sink and let sit for a couple of minutes. Rinse WELL!
