I had directtv but it is out temporarily. How can I access my local channels ?

I don't want to have to buy equipment...Any suggestions?

You have to go to the setup / menu, switch the source from "cable" to ANT. Then do a channel scan.

an antenna on the back of the tv. or just a couple of wires strung out
