My cousin Vinnie and I like to make this two or three times a month - sometimes we put (canned) spinach in it too...
Into your soup bowl:
Break a pkg. of Top Ramen (any brand)
Sprinkle in seasoning packet
Dollop of crushed garlic (jar)
Pinch crushed red pepper (dried)
Handful chopped cooked chicken
1 cup water
Microwave on HIGH 5 minutes. Stir; sprinkle with sliced scallions (green onions) and serve.
Here's a real-life recipe though...
"Shiitake-Chicken Soup with Ramen Noodles" - 4 servings
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. minced garlic
2 tsp. minced fresh ginger
1/2 cup finely chopped carrot
1/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
2 cups sliced shiitake mushroom caps
6 cups chicken broth
2 tbsp. soy sauce
4 green onions; chopped
1/8 tsp. ground white pepper
8 oz. boneless, skinless chicken breast halves; cut into thin strips
2 (3.5 oz.) pkgs. ramen noodle soup mix (discard flavoring packets)
1 medium tomato; chopped
1) Heat oil in large pot or Dutch oven over medium-high heat until hot. Add garlic and ginger; cook 20-30 seconds or until fragrant. Add carrot and bell pepper; cook 1 minute. Add mushrooms; cook 1-2 minutes or until mushrooms begin to soften.
2) Stir in broth, soy sauce, green onions and pepper; bring to a boil.
3) Add chicken, noodles and tomato. Cover; cook 3-4 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink in center and noodles are al dente, stirring occasionally with fork to separate noodles.
4) To serve: Use tongs to transfer chicken, noodles and vegetables to individual soup bowls. Ladle broth over noodles.

Accessories: Egg yolk, green onion, julienned white onion, sliced meat of any kind, mushrooms.
Recipes:
--Just the noodles: cook the ramen almost like normal, except add 1/2 the water and 1/2 the seasoning. Cook until all liquid has been absorbed, then enjoy! I like crushing mine into spoon-sized pieces before cooking.
--Pasta: Cook the noodles (maybe add like 1/4 of the packet for flavor), then drain and add your favorite pasta sauce to it.
--Ramen and cheese: cook like you were making pasta, then add either slices of Kraft singles or Velveeta.
--Pho: If you like (or even know) what pho is, instead of the rice noodles I like using ramen noodles instead. Tastes great!
