certain fish contain more mercury levels than others. avoid or eat in moderation, shark, swordfish, tilefish, and king mackerel because these types of larger fish have higher levels of mercury. five of the most commonly eaten fish that have low mercury levels are shrimp, salmon, pollock, catfish, and canned light tuna. fish sticks and fast food fish sandwiches also are commonly made from fish that are low in mercury. Albacore or "white" tuna has more mercury than canned light tuna.

Only some kinds of fish contain dangerous amounts of mercury but there was a recent article that said to go ahead and eat fish because the health benefits outweigh the dangers.
But never eat raw fish because it has worms and other parasite in it.

In general, fish is good to eat often. Just check for what kind of fish, where caught etc. and info available on any mercury content or other contaminents. Basically, it is OK to eat lots of fish as long as you know the source.

Not if you catch it in Californias' central valley. The county(San Joaquin) says it is only safe for an adult to eat this once a month.Store bought should be okay to eat every day.Not only okay, but healthy for you.

It's supposed to be very healthy. My great-grandparents have eaten fish every day of their life for a very, very, long time, and they're still alive, in their 90ies, no joke.
