i was just watching tv then my eye started to itch and i noticed it was all swelled up. What should i do and what is it

its a stye.. i just had one & it itches & hurts... put a very hot washcloth on it & it will go away almost immediatly!

It could be a couple of things...
1. allergies (if it's just itchy but your eye looks normal)
2. bug bite (I had a spider bite once that did that)
3. pink eye (it will be all pus like in the morning if thats the case)
4. stye (you should be able to see a white bump inside if thats the case)
Don't rub it much and see what it's like tomorrow. If it gets worse or hurts/itches more to to the MD.

You shouldn't touch it first of all. I've had this before. Next, you should wash your eye out with water and go to your doctors and get eye drops. Make sure NOT to rub it, because if you do the bacteria will get inside of your eye and make the swelling worse. It's best just to wait it out, even though it's itchy.

thjis is a sign maybe you are elergic to tv,
dont rub it .put cold water on it if it persists go see the guy at the drugstore tomorrow ,he may give you some eye drops.
and be careful what you watch in the future

This is an allergic reaction. Put a cold compress on it to reduce swelling.

You may have an allergy or a tear duct is blocked. Try an allergy med or a Benadryl capsule. If it is there tomorrow you should see your family doctor. Best of luck to you!!

wash your hands and don't touch it , it could be pink or an eye infections...touching it can spead it to your other eye or other people. go see your Dr.

maybe ur hands were dirty, and u scratched ur eye and made it swollen... so just keep ur hands away from ur eye, and make sure they're clean.
