I'm werid, my body is very weird....so to tell you the honest truth,
milk makes me feel WAY better
gingerale is good, as long as it is flat
chicken soup, no noodles cause they are all stringy
I love to eat really greasy hamburgers as well
oh yeah pancakes are awsome, but instead of syrup, put whipped cream and strawberrrys
fruits, like banana's, strawberrys, apples....anything not too sweet or acidic.
oh yeah and pizza
but let's face it, the food that combforts ME, makes most other people get even mopre sick.

When I'm sick, I like to eat hot soups like Chicken Noodle Soup with lots of crackers. Orange juice is also a good thing....and Gingerale if I'm feeling a little uneasy in my stomach. If my throat is sore, I like to eat ice cream :)

chicken soup
toast
saltines
tomato soup
grilled cheese
gingerale
diet 7up
water
orange juice
vitamin c
nyquil
comedy- movies or tv
my own bed
sleep

and ahhh yes-I agree with getting2old2quick. If it's respiratory, gotta have a hot brandy-(brandy, hot water, lemon and honey) works like a charm...besides that, its good to have a bump to kick that nyquil into gear-hehe

I guess we were poorer than we thought because my Mon made something she called milk toast.
She toasted two alices of bread, heated about 1/2C milk with a T of butter. Break the toast into bite sized pieces and pour hot milk over, salted to taste.
It always made me feel better.
Sometimes we would get really lucky and I could have tomato soup (canned) made with milk and a pat of butter with saltines broken up in it.

if it's intestinal, saltines & ginger ale, then when better
it's gotta be homemade chicken soup.

when it's respiratory stuff, a "hot toddy" with lemon & camomile blend with a crushed clove of garlic, tbl spoon of honey, and a double shot of whiskey. May sound strange, but you sleep good, cough less, and the garlic & honey help your immune system!
