What do you suppose is better to drink, if you have to drink one?

it really depends on the brewing process, some ciders have a lot of sugar in them, too much sugar and alchohol can be a bad mix indeed, to avoid this stick to more acidic ciders such as apple or grape. But yeah over all, drink per drink, volume to volume, cider is "healthier"....but not by a significant amount.....beer is worse only because it can make you fat faster.

It gives you a nastier hangover than beer, that's for damn sure. Why don't you mix it, 1/2 and 1/2. The next time you go out order a snakebite (1/2 cider, usuallly pear, 1/2 beer, usually Harp). Happy drinking!

They are both healthy if you drink them in moderation, as they have a certain amount of vitamins and yeast in them. They can relax you, aid in digestion, and clean and build the blood.
