I'm not a Chritian. But as long as you don't do it then it's okay. You're not exactly harming others.
Just don't think too much that you start doing them.

Thinking something sinful purposely is not the same as doing it. We as a human being, come to this sinful world in the image of God as a sinner, always tempted by the material thing, sexuality, self- centre, pride and ect. As you can see, we are just tempted but not commited. It is very natural for us as a human to fan-tasize. It might be easier for you to think it this way, before converted to a Christian, I always thought is it safe to do this and that, but as a Christian, I will think is it right or not to do this and that. Hope this answer give you some help.

It does say it in the Bible.. I forget where, but it does I promise. . it just basically means that you can never possibly be pure in God's eyes except through Jesus Christ even if you never actually do the bad thing. .oh wait.. Matthew 5:27-28 :You have heard the commandment that says you must not commit adultery, but I say that anyone who has even looked at a woman with lust has already committed adultery in his heart. Same for murder in 5:21.

I'm not sure of the scripture or scriptures but it says if a man looks upon a woman he's committed adultery in his heart. I guess that's saying if you think sinful thoughts you're gulity of that particular sin. Hopefully that's shed some light for you.

Philipians 4:8 Finally Brothers whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovley, whatever is admirable, if anything is excalent or praisworthy, think about such things. What does this mean? this means that whatever we do, say, or think should fall into place with these traits. God can see what we are thinking and knows when what we are thinking is sinful. We are called to represent him in this world, and in order to be a good example for Christ we must strive with his help to follow these guidlines.

This is Deep and yes, your Thought-Life can get so Involved that It is Sin.
The Results of Sinning in your Mind, is not as Dramatic as when it gets so Deep you Start Acting on those Thoughts.
Guard your Thought-Life

what?!? No one mentioned that Jesus said that lusting after another is committing adultery in your heart? Right there in the Bible.
How bout hatred for your brother?
Starts in the mind. Jesus calls those acts of sin.

Thinking wrongfully does not constitute a sinful act !!!
Take action on that thought will be sinful.
By sin, I am not referring in Christian terms, but any act of wrong doing is considered sinful. ... bad ... evil ... call it what u like.

Jesus sums it up in what of His preachings, He states that if a man lusts after another woman he is as guilty as if he had sex with her, if a man hates his brother, he is as guilty as if he killed him. He is showing us that sin starts in our minds. If you covet my new pair of shoes so much, you might find justification to steal them from me.
I hope this explains your question :)

i think its more like wanting to do it in your mind is wrong
example
if i think about having sex with an ugly person i dont want to do it, so its not a sin
but when i take pleasure in the thought---- ie having sex with good looking person----then its a sin because i actually want to do it
