Sure and then i can legally stone my neighbor to death for planting corn and potatoes in the same field.

and i can buy slaves from neighboring countries, would states be considered small countries today?

and i could have sex with my wife's maidservent..

and none of this is considered immoral in the bible.

on the other hand we would only have nuns walking around on the streets.

That's stupid. Do you plan to throw 95% of the population in jail? What the hell would that purpose serve? Your 'sexual immorality' hurts no one. It's bad enough we're already filling our prisons with non-violent offenders - where do you plan to get the money from to imprison that many people?

Really, think before you ask a question next time.

Supporting prison time for acts which are legal? Not a good idea.

No doubt there would be little problem finding someone willing to cast the first stone.

Buddy-----we haven't got enough prisons as it is.
Besides, if you put everyone in prison that has done the above at least once-----there would not be anyone on the streets.

Why should people be in prison for that?

Maybe most people will be in prison if that actually happens.

no, but I do support prison time for people who think they have the right to pry into others' personal lives.

we would run out of prisons quick--maybe we should send all the people who aren't doing that to protect them from real life
