is it possible to be allergic to beer?

everytime i drink beer, the first one i have, i get sick to my stomach. If i continue drinking i wont get drunk, but i will get sick. And the next day, i get the WORST hangover in the world, and i wasnt even drunk the night before. Am I allergic or what's the deal?

You could be allergic to any of the ingredients that are in the beer. Only way to find out for sure would be to have allergy tests done.

It can also be a combination of something you are eating and the beer. My ex mother-in-law cannot eat anything that was made with egg in it and drink alcohol - she goes into anaphylactic shock. It took a lot of testing to figure out what combination was causing it.
