In the bible god is called "i am" the ego also calls itself "i am" so does this mean that each and every being is god? - not a part of god but god himself, or herself, or any conscious being that is aware of it's own existence; and since we can only be aware of one "i am" (by default, our own) does that mean that every other being that has an "i am" can't be real to us? Is this proof that god both exists and doesn't exist? This would make for a lonely (and confusing) universe.

Not really, because the greatest sin, the root of sin, is our selves wanting to be gods of our own lives.

Only one person can claim true personality: God, all others have a limited capacity in being a person. Why? How? God is the only true Person. For He is the only one who has perfect identity apart from another source. He does not need any one or anything else to give Him purpose or acknowledgement or credence to His Being to define exactly who He is!

Secondly, in this true Person God is the only one who had the power to stand alone by His own ability, all others have a need of others for support of life, empowerment, living. Man only houses life God is LIFE! Therefore He Is the true Person.

Thirdly, God is the only true Person in that He is the only one who is unchanging, immutable he is the same yesterday today and forever. You change, you have been changing from the day you were born and you will change until you die, and then you will be changed from one eternity to another either Heaven or Hell.

Fourthly, God is the only true Person for He is Eternal. In the person of God He that is the eternal personality is God, only God qualifies for that position. God's Person is Eternal He is the self Existent One. He alone is immortal. He alone is the Self Perpetuating God.

Fortunately for the universe your argument does not follow. For although G-d revealed himself as the I am, He is also revealed in numerous other terms. "Lord" for example.
