Puuhhleezzz! They DO NOT DRIVE the economy. If you want to come to America speak our language, do it the right way, get a job, pay taxes, ya' know like every true American in this country. Just becasue their government and country stinks does not mean they should, or can come to ours and trash it and vote to change the #1 Language. There are many people who do it the right way, I think they should quit being chickens and just stay where the heck they are. My child shoudl NOT have to learn English as a second language here in AMERICA! Ohh, I have so much more to say on this than there is room on here, so NO we should NOT help illegal aliens. and that is my FINAL answer!

We shouldn't give anyone searching for a better life the cold shoulder. We should however show them how to do things legally.. how to get a Visa or become a legal citizen. We have a lot of immigrants where I live and most of them are here to try to build a better life for their families. They are hard workers and honestly want to do the right thing but aren't sure how. Don't assume that all immigrants are here illegally so they dont have to pay taxes and can get free health care or for whatever reason some think they are here for.

You should force employers to hire citizens and citizens only. Severe punishments should be handed out to employers that hire illegals. Workers documents should be checked and rechecked, and checked again on a yearly basis after that. Sending illegals home rather than to jail just encourages them. This answer is coming from a Canadian. Employers who want to hire cheap labour so the can drive a rolls royce instead of a BMW deserve no respect anyway.

How do you know they are the ones driving the American economy? Unless they can vote and pay taxes I don't think they should be helped. Why don't we just take that statue down. I'm ashamed of America.

We should give them exactly what they deserve. When one breaks the law, one should expect to be accountable.

They need to be held accountable for their entering our country illegally, and...if applicable...for stealing Social Security Numbers...

Identity Theft is the hottest crime in town. Many who have had their SS# stolen are still children and the crime will not come to light until they are old enough to get a job or to try to get credit. Then, they will have an expensive situation to clean up.

They drive the economy into the ground, don't you realize that? They do not pay taxes, send most of the money back to Mexico. We give them food stamps, free health care, etc. Who pays for that/? WE DO ! Illegal means "BREAKING THE LAW " .

They DO NOT drive the economy!

That's the most backward statement that I have ever heard.

They take from us (our schools, social services, etc.) and take from us (sending money out of our economy) and take from us (by filling prisons)!!!

The only help we should give them is a ride home!

They drive the economy down!

They do contribute to a declining economy and contribute to lowering of our education.

They also contribute to increasing lawlessness and declining social culture.

They contribute to closing of hospitals and breaking the budget on social services.

They contribute to bringing third world diseases into the country along with drugs and slave labor.

In fact if there is anything negative in an immigrant population the illegal aliens excel at it.

Illegal is illegal, we must enforce the laws. But it does not mean cold shoulder.

Because we are creating contracts and term employment to them.

That is actually better protect them from being gouch and abuse by their employer.

People need jobs and we have employer needs labors. There are things to work out. But make it legally.
