I am still quite floored by some of the answers I have r'cd- Amnesty for criminal activity ! Should that right not be reserved (if exercised at all) for people who have at least attempted to show respect for our countrie's laws?

They are definitely "pro-illegal" or in other words "against the law"! You can always be "pro-aliens" but still stay within the limits of the law! After all, at a closer look, this our immigration law makes sense! All what we want with this law is to make sure that we know and keep under control, who is immigrating into the US. As hard as it may sound, but as a matter of fact, "pro-illegal" includes also "pro-Al Qaida" and "pro-drugdealers" and all types of other criminals! Or do you want to put signs on our borders reading: Illegal workers are wellcome, illegal criminals please stay out! ?

Supporting immigration is not condoning, supporting or encouraging illegal immigration. We don't support drug trafficking, identity theft, welfare fraud or tax evasion. The bottom line issue here is that we do not support these lies. Your question is based in a bunch of lies!

We have family members; husbands, grandparents, children who can not get drivers licenses, car insurance or pay taxes. We support them!
You are talking about a small percentage of 'illegals' involved in drug trafficking & identity fraud. Considering that there are millions of illeglas here if we were all drug dealers this entire nation would be over run!! That is a gross & disgusting generalization of you to make!
The welfare fraud thing is the biggest lie that you claim in that in order to get state assisance you have to have proper documentaion which an illegal does not have!!

We support knowing WHO Is in this counrty and where they are! We support them paying taxes so that they/we do not feel like free loaders. We support them having the proper documentation.
The immigration issue has far reaching affects on peoples lives. diecent good soild people (not drug dealers.) who contribute to our society. That is why even the dreaded G. Bush supported amenesty!!!
No one wants the degenerates to have amenesty. No one is asking for criminals to have legal status. We simply support people who have been here for 5 years or more, who are married, who participate in a postive way to continue to do so.

If my father in law died tomarow, my husband could not go to his funeral, because he could not return to me & our kids.
My husbands cousin would have to leave her husband & 2 daughters here if they deported illeglas.
Two of our good freinds who have been here since they were teens can not finish college because they do not have the proper documentation to get their degree.
Our disabeled grandfarher would have to go back with no one to care for him in Mexico.

NONE OF THE PEOPLE IM TALKING ABOUT HERE HAVE EVER TAKEN OR WOULD EVER TAKE WELFARE - EVEN IF THEY COULD!!!

There are many solutions to this problem. Starting with Mexico stepping up & cleaning up! No one is wanting a free ride or to support illegal activity. We support humanity - survival, family and integrity.

All of those, they thumb their nose at our immigration laws. The illegal immigrants want what they want and want it right now. Then they get a few here in American to feel sorry for them.

I think the illegals just want a better way of life. I think the corporations want cheap labor, and to turn our beloved country into a banana republic. And what are, "we the people", doing about it?...........nothing. Or did I miss something here?
